Coral Princess Mini Suite Bedding

can anyone report on the mattresses in coral's mini suites? Are they different/better than the princess standard cabins? Love princess, haven't sailed with them in several years but always had a hard time with the mattresses.

The only ships that have had a change of mattresses are the Emerald and Ruby so far.

According to the Princess website, and according to me, the mini suites have upgraded mattresses.

 

Others say it's just chance and luck of the draw, but our experience is that mini suite beds are superior to standard balconies. This is admittedly based only only two or three of each. Never been on the Coral, but this month on the Island, the mini suite mattresses were great.

 

The best bedding we've had was the one time we sprung for a full-suite upsell.

I saw a post recently that said new mattresses will be brought on the Coral during the mini dry dock in February or March.

Hope this happens!

They said that about the Emerald as well.

Lo and behold there are still reports of old mattress's on the Emerald.

I would not count on the entire ship having ALL mattress's replaced.

Its an ongoing process and not just done in drydock.
