We enjoyed the Lawn Club Grill. Food was excellent, the setting like an out door patio, except with the ocean flowing past. Murano and Tuscan were their normal wonderful experiences too.

Not sure about "programs", we don't play trivia or go to the game show type activities, or lectures. There were morning and afternoon excersise sessions by the pool, bingo, ect.

Lectures is what I was asking about and wine tasting. No bingo for us either lol. The cabanas that they rent on the lawn are they worth it ?

The Alcoves on the lawn we feel are worth the cost. We are four sisters traveling together and love having one rented for the entire week.

My top reason would be that we always have a chair in deck without having to do battle with the chair hogs.

It also gives us a meeting place and we enjoiy the area. The attendant WILL also bring beverages covered by our premium beverage package.

When we travel with husbands we rent 2 of them.

We have been to Western ports many times and plan to spend most of our port days onboard ship.

Last time we sailed on celebrity we enjoyed the programs they had onboard. I've been reading a lot of there programs have been cut back is this true? What speciality restaurant would you recommend?

Lectures depend on the length of cruise and how port intensive it is. Last April we went on a B2B on Reflection. The first leg was 7 day Western Caribbean. There were no lectures and fewer on board activities and no wine tasting because almost everyday we were in a new port and almost everyone was off the ship. The second leg was a 16 day TA. There were several different lecturers and tons of on board activities including wine tasting on sea days. Those who say activities have been cut back were perhaps on one of those port intensive cruises.

We purchased a four pack of coupons for the Specialty restaurants - Murano, Tuscan Drill, Qsine, and Lawn Club - for $137.00 p/p. Murano and Tuscan Grill were excellent as always. Eva our server n Qsine made the experience one we will never forget. However, the Lawn Club was the biggest surprise! Really, really good food and service all in a "backyard setting." We recommend all four restaurants and the coupons can be used on any day, in port or not.

On our 7 day cruise on Reflection, there were no guest lecturers and there were cutbacks in activities. I would suggest bringing your Apple device as the educational programs have been really well done on this ship. Great staff.

Also, bring along your iPod as you may not care for the DJ around the pool during the sea days.

As for Specialty Restaurants, you cannot go wrong with Tuscan Grill and Murano. Qsine is a lot of fun, especially if going in a larger group. Food is secondary to the … I won't spoil the fun. We were disappointed in the Lawn Club Grill for lunch as the menu was reduced.

The staff is wonderful on this ship as is the food.

You can also all leave your spot, and not worry about losing your chairs. My husband and I actually had breakfast and lunch together, without worrying about that 30 minute rule.

We hugely enjoyed our Reflection week this past November, but it did seem as if daytime programs were few and far between - and almost none that weren't either for a fee or (very) thinly disguised sales pitches. We also found fewer evening things to enjoy than in the past, in part because the performers weren't particularly to our taste. That said, it's a lovely ship.

If you're into specialty lunches, we thought the Porch seafood lunch was lovely, and on this trip we became big fans of Café il Bacio in the afternoons - lovely coffee, tea, and pastries (pay for the beverages, but sweets are free).

We have been on 4 S Class ships and got off the Reflection a week ago.

Reflection is a bit different than the others in that the Sky Observation lounge is smaller because of the suites they put on the port side. It is also the most underused lounge onboard even though it is a wonderful spot.

I disagree with the Alcoves. I do not feel they are worth the exorbitant price. We have never had a problem getting loungers on the ship. There are so many and in so many places on the ship.

We found the food and service very good in the MDR. While food and service are very subjective, it is all a matter of what your expectations are. For sure the MDR is not a Michelin star restaurant (and neither is any eating establishment on any ship) but, it beats cooking, serving and cleaning up by yourself :). The Ocieanview buffet always had a variety of foods and was, in our opinion, always fulfilling and good. You could get anything from sandwiches to salads to soups to pasts to curries to roasts etc. A very good selection. The only thing was if you wanted a burger or hot dog and fries, the only place to get that was at the Mast bar and it was quite crowded on sea days.

Almost every cruise has different "programs". The entertainment can change, not so much the production shows but the individual entertainers, comedians or singers. The lectures can be different as well, depending on the itinerary of the ship.

The cabins are all the same.....balcony cabins are all the same regardless of deck, oceanviews are the same, insides are the same regardless of location. Suites are different depending on locations.

The ship is just great. Lots of bars and lounges, lots of things to do, if you wish to take advantage of them and, the casino is there to take your hard earned money. If you wish to pick up a few items shopping, they have "sales" . Near the end of the cruise they have 50 or more % off many things in the shops form deck 4 except for the high end shops on deck 5. While they have "sales" on deck 5 shops too, it behooves you to be really aware of the prices.

On our recent cruise we did not have a brunch on the last sea day and it was very disappointing as they were always very good.

All in all, it is a vacation, you unpack once and see several Caribbean Islands and pack up and go home 7 (or so) days later. Things are good when you can do that.

Everybody has complaints or criticisms but really, it is a vacation and you are catered to. You can spend as much as you want (additional costs for specialty restaurants) but you do not have to.

You will have a very good time onboard.
