First week is over..can you believe

Weeks go fast but weight loss is slow to leave

I'm sure some counted 1-1 as your start date

Others might have found it hard and starting now..never to late

Have to take it day by day..week by week

It will come off pound by pound even if some days we are weak

We never give up as you know

We never say we can't do it...No

Each week we come here after we've been on the scale

Want to see you come in with a loss but even with a gain and a yell

We all want a loss or to maintain but a gain does happen once in awhile

We just keep trying till the weight comes off and we smile

Just remember some lose slow some lose fast

However it comes off we want our loss's to last

So here we go in 2016 to get healthy and trim in this New Year

So let's get going because as you know 2017 (will come fast) so it is near

So friends wishing you the best in your weight loss this year!

Hello,

Belle, great poem.

Torn, good loss.

I stayed the same. Hubby and I leave for Hawaii next Thursday so not sure if I'll have time to check-in next week.

Been working hard at the gym. Will work out on the cruise most days.

Have a good week and if I miss next week I'll check in when we return early February.

Diana

HI all!

Belle ~ nice poem as usual.:D

Congrats to the losers my self included! ;)I'm down 0.6 lbs so am happy about that. Just wish there wasn't so many more to lose but then look at that show with the 600 lb people & how much they have to lose!!

Have a great weekend & Bon Voyage Diana.

Good morning everyone, sorry to check in late but just had to get over a little funk last week.

Kind of hit a wall and lost a lot of discipline - huge swings up and down with eating and not pushing myself.

I'd have a great ride, then eat too much crap. I'd eat half way decent then not get out of a chair for 4 hours.

I am of the firm belief that, for me anyways, it goes back to the processed sugars and prepared foods. The more "comfort food" I ate (breads, sweets, desserts, etc) the lazier I would get and could just feel my motivation to stay in track ebb away.

This weekend I forced myself to ride and walk - not epic journeys, just my usual distances. Then got out of the chair and did more chores, bought better foods, etc.

I went back and re-read a bunch of articles on fiber, belly fat, the simple changes that make big differences - looked at old pics of me from years ago - reminded myself where I came from and how hard it was to get here.

Not a pity party, just a slap in the cheek to pull out of the cycle and move forward.

This morning is like a clear new horizon. Taking my fiber supplement, drinking some veggie juice, planning ahead.

Life is looking a lot fun again. (Not that it ever wasn't, but this is like icing on a cake - pardon the most inappropriate metaphor)

Anywho, thanks for listening to my ramblings. Thanks for continuing to post - it is another thing I find extremely "centering" knowing we're all in this together.

Have a great week.

Last night wrote a long post but it wanted

to go into space and never come back...

Story of my life lately. My TV went out and

now the transmission of my car went out.

Deciding if should get it fixed or buy a new car.

With things at this time just going to get it fixed.

It's an old car but miles are OK. Hope I didn't

make a mistake.

Eating not to bad but not as good as it should be.

Picking to much. Now cooking a roast in the crock pot

trying a new way don't think it's coming out like I want

but will eat it. Look at me complaining too much.

OK will start fresh....

Diana.. almost time for your cruise..Are you all packed.

Have fun in Hawaii..hope it will be warm and sunny for

you two.

shootr.. yes we're all in the same "boat"..trying to lose

weight..We all will have our ups and downs..this is

the way we have to be the rest of our lives. It's not

a short time diet it's a way of life. Glad your back on track.

Jo..Glad you had a loss and having some popcorn not

going to make you gain, it's better than candy and cake.

Cate..hope to see you on Thursday and you'll be closer to

your goal. Your so close. Congrats.

Torn..did you go to the gym this week? I need to exercise more.

Hope your having a good week.

Kasi..missed you this week. Hope everything is alright.

ROSE, JAN AND ALL OTHERS..WE MISS YOU! COME BACK!
