Pickels Posted January 15, 2016 #26 Share Posted January 15, 2016 Are you still getting towel animals in your cabin before retiring ? We took a 21 day HAL cruise from SD to Sydney in October & our state room attendant never missed a beat .his animal creations were incredible .:D Towel animals--not a real neccesary but, if done with some creative thinking, can be a hoot. For example, last cruise, our attendant made a towel animal of a full size monkey, sitting on the couch, legs crossed, holding the TV remote, with the TV on, and a sign... "I'm watching a program, do not turn it off". We almost fell over with laughter. We didn't notice the monkey at first, because we were wondering who left the TV on. Our favorite towel/pillow creation was on RC's Monarch of the Seas. We came back to our cabin, after a very enjoyable evening. I opened the cabin door, and was quite startled to see what looked like feet (wearing DH's shoes), hanging over the end of the bed. Upon closer inspection, our room steward had made a full-size person, using pillows, towels, and my DH's clothes. This dude was even wearing his hat and sunglasses! We laughed ourselves silly, over that one. :D Edited January 15, 2016 by wwcruisers
