Superbowl on the Jewel?

Has anyone sailed Superbowl Sunday? Just wondering if they'll have the game on?

I am sure they will!! We were on the Dawn in November and they had the Patriots-Giants game on in the Pearly Kings.

I've sailed on the Jewel before on a Super Bowl cruise .. And they have it on in almost every bar.. With snacks like chicken wings.. Enjoy

Yes, definitely. You can watch it at any of: huge screen, at some bars, or stateroom TV. Thankfully they do not (yet) show it in the MDR.

 

We have sailed 4 times in recent years on this particular Sunday, and had the misfortune to find there is at least one public venue given over for this advertising extravaganza.......actually, without the adverts because they cannot be shown for contractual reasons! That means much more inaction during the course of the 3 hours, or however long it takes.

 

Much prefer to watch real football than this stuff, it is incomprehensible to most non-N.Americans.;)
