bigmjh Posted January 19, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 19, 2016 In looking at all the changes being made to the Journey. I noticed that they are reducing the number of staterooms available to passengers. What I see is ... (1) Eliminating passenger availability to all Deck 3 staterooms = -14 (2) Reconfiguring Deck 4 staterooms (#4051 & 4055 disappear) = -2 (3) Adding 4 new staterooms on Deck 8 (8800 > 8803) = +4 (4) Adding 2 new Spa Suites on Deck 9 (9000 & 9002) = +2 So, it looks like the Journey winds up with 10 less passenger staterooms ... therefore, 20 less passengers? Chewbecca Posted January 23, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 23, 2016 There are also less cabins that can accommodate a 3rd guest I think. However I think their headline capacity is if all cabins are occupied by 2 people?
upwarduk Posted January 23, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 23, 2016 If the same happens on Quest---- Our sailing 09/09/16, is fully booked, so how do they accommodate all booked guests?
bigmjh Posted January 23, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted January 23, 2016 I had originally booked a Deck 3 OV ... almost 2 years ago. Then they eliminated all Deck 3 staterooms for guests. I had been bounced around all over the place (different staterooms) and then finally assigned to #4055 ... a stateroom that would NO LONGER exist  after the drydock. Now, less than 3 weeks before cruise they finally assigned me to an actual stateroom that physically exists on their new deck plans. I can only imagine what others in similar circumstances have gone through.
