jlocole Posted August 22, 2018 #26 Share Posted August 22, 2018 I looked at their offers. It appears you print it out after you purchase, and keep a copy on phone or tablet. Looks like a legit system. I may purchase the beach and tour pass. Sadly, too old for all the water-slides.
Liverpoolfan181 Posted August 27, 2018 #27 Share Posted August 27, 2018 Happy Monday! I just bought our Resort for a day passes for Atlantis (Aquaventure + pools, etc) for my family of 5 and we are going on Symphony of the Seas Jan 5. We will be in port from 10-6pm.We are going in "Value Season" as per the website, to which prices are $135 pp vs the extravagant mark up to the ship pricing. High Season I believe it is $170 pp. We are all adults ranging 30-70 years. The customer service at Resort for a day is fantastic and they respond to emails daily and latest, within 24 hrs. I purchased online and immediately after processing, we print our receipt/pass and full, detailed instructions are printed with where to go, the day of, to the detail. They make it easy to find your way and avoid waiting in lines or going to the wrong tower only to waste time. Upon check in, you will receive your wristbands. Resort for a day sells the same price as Atlantis direct. It was the easiest few minutes to book these passes. However, passes are limited and pending the occupancy of Atlantis, cruises in port, etc, tickets are limited. They are fully refundable up to 11 days prior to sailing and also refundable if your ship does not make it to port due to inclement weather or other unforeseen factors. It is so nice to know we don't have to wait in any lines upon arrival other than taxis and getting our wristbands as time is short. We did consider booking a room either at Atlantis or comfort suites but this is just too easy and more economical for our family of 5, as we would need to reserve 2 rooms in order to get all passes (NOTE: Every person needs to be accounted for in booking hotel rooms. If hotel occupancy is 4 people and you are party of 5, you will need a second room). We are counting down the days as last time we were there, Aquaventure was not yet opened! Happy Sailing! lagreca Posted October 2, 2018 #29 Share Posted October 2, 2018 (edited) We will be in Nassau next week (10/8/18 9am-5pm) and Carnival wants $170/person for an aquaventure pass. It looks like I can buy the same pass on bahamasdaypass.com for $135/person. Is there any reason I should buy directly from Carnival for $35 more? Do they include transportation to and from Atlantis? If I buy from BDP, is it best to take a water taxis or land taxi? What time would be safe to pack up at Atlantis to head back? 3:30pm? Rare GotMINI Posted October 2, 2018 #30 Share Posted October 2, 2018 It's a calculated risk. If you do Atlantis on your own, and anything happens it is up to you to get back to the boat in time. If you are late for any reason, they will NOT hold the ship for your. If you are with the ship's excursion, you do not have that issue and they will guarantee that you will be back on the ship. We did Resorts for a Day a few years back when traveling with RC. But we made sure to leave early as to not cut our time to get back to the ship too short. It was easy to catch a cab outside of the resort to get back to the port. However, there was a lonnnnng line to then go through customs and then return to the ship. It was the longest line we had at any port! I'd say an hour although I cannot recall and again it was a few years ago, so things can change. Keep in mind weather too. While the outside excursion is cancellable up to 11days in advance, you really don't know weather or port conditions that far out. So, if for some reason you do not dock in Nassau that day (not sure if that ever happens but there's a chance), then you are out that $. If you go with the ship's excursion, you would not be. Personally, I've gone for making my own arrangements for ship excursions as the ship's excursions tend to be pricier, have less time at destination, and are more crowded. However, it is nice to know certain guarantees - like transportation being arranged and especially getting back on the ship. Essentially they make all the arrangements for you and you don't have to worry about anything. There was one time I did book a ship excursion but that was for an island where we had a tender port and I didn't want to bother stressing about making connections, the weather (sometimes water too rough for ship to dock and it was known that the ship had passed this port at times), etc. Again - it's all a calculated risk. Good luck with your decision!

Carnival provides transportation, you can get there quicker on your own. Cabs $4 pp, closer than water taxis. I’d leave closer to 3, just in case. esf1224 Posted November 12, 2018 #35 Share Posted November 12, 2018 My family and I will be going to the atlantis through comfort suites next week. We are with two older relatives who would like to come with us but wouldn't be using slides or doing activities. Will they need a pass to get in? Is there a more affordable way for them to join us? scubagirrl Posted November 12, 2018 #36 Share Posted November 12, 2018 They will need a pass just to get on the property, unless they just want to use the casino. Beach pass and Aquarium passes are available, but neither allow access to the pool or pool deck, so no access to loungers except for at the beach. I would suggest they do something else. blueridgemama Posted November 12, 2018 #37 Share Posted November 12, 2018 If you just do the Atlantis beach day, are towels and beach loungers and umbrellas included and, if they are, are they usually available?
amajer Posted November 6, 2019 #38 Share Posted November 6, 2019 When booking the day at Comfort Suites, if you put 1 adult in a room when booking do they still give four passes for Atlantis or do you need to show 4 people in the room?

No, if you want 4 passes you will need to put 4 people in the room and pay the extra taxes and fees on every one of them, it adds up.
