Uber/Execucar Service

If you use a service such as execucar or even uber if you ask them to stop at a target/grocery store on way to port will they? We want to get our own sodas to take onboard. I see there is a Target very near the port and not off the beaten path.

Of course they will...but I would think you have the obligation to mention it in advance, as generally the stated price is for transport from A to B. The "meter" will be running.

With Uber especially I would make it known up front that is what you want to do since they base their pricing on A to B calculations. I think it would be easier with ExecuCar and I would up my tip to the driver.

Both will but there usually is a cost for it.

 

You need to advise both at the time of booking.

When you hail a car via the Uber app, the driver will call you to work out your exact location and your description so they can spot you easily. (You also get descriptions of the car, license plate, and driver). When they call, bring up the intermediate stop. The drive should be fine with it. If not, they will cancel and you can hail another Uber.
