Sailing Carnival and considering Paradise Point in St. Thomas

does Carnival refund the price of these tickets if you do not use them? i see they are a little less expensive if bought ahead of time through Carnival. other cruiselines have a moneyback policy if the day ends up rainy or you run out of time to use them.....

I believe they will refund them if THEY cancel it. if you are a no show because of weather and they are still going, I dont think they will refund you

Pretty sure like all other Carnival excursions, its a go, rain or shine. No refunds unless Carnival or the vendor cancels. Been on a few excursions where in rained.

Wondering if we can buy these onboard the day before we dock in St Thomas

We were just there in October. We went to Paradise Point on our own. We just walked off the ship and then walked over to the skyride that takes you up to Paradise Point. Unfortunately - I do not remember how much the skyride tickets were.

Not sure how much Carnival charges for tickets but I found discount coupons for tickets on line a few years ago. If you have never been, Paradise Point is a great place to see all over and get great pictures! Also, (if you drink) get a Bushwacker at the top (I had to share with my hubby), delicious!

Just got back (On Celebrity Summit) from St-Thomas. Got to Paradise Point ticket window (no line) at 8h45. Tickets are $21US. We were up and down within an hour, got superbe pictures, did not eat or drink there. Free Wifi excellent. Went down and there was already a taxi there. Took it to Megen Bay and were on the beach before 10h30AM.

Was just on the Splendor a couple of weeks ago and this was one of the excursions that we purchased on the ship because they had a money back guarantee if you didn't use the tickets because they said that things happen and you may not be able to make it. It was also cheaper to purchase on board vs at Paradise Point!

You can buy the tickets at the purser's desk.

 

They are discounted, and refundable.

Carnival's tickets are one dollar cheaper if bought thru them. However, you can sometimes find discount coupons online, or even in discount tourist booklets in port as you leave ship in St. Thomas.
