39august Posted January 23, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2016 There is a thread on another page about someone who ordered lobster with her steak in Chops. I didn't see lobster on the Chops menu on LB in Dec. I had no idea Chops offered lobster. Is that true?
Ken at the beach Posted January 23, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2016 There is a thread on another page about someone who ordered lobster with her steak in Chops. I didn't see lobster on the Chops menu on LB in Dec. I had no idea Chops offered lobster. Is that true? It's an up charge item. I've had success in the past of getting the MDR lobster tail added to my steak when we have dined in Chops on the second formal night.
leaveitallbehind Posted January 23, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 23, 2016 (edited) It's an up charge item. I've had success in the past of getting the MDR lobster tail added to my steak when we have dined in Chops on the second formal night. They also will do it as a surf and turf with an upcharge. Adding the MDR lobster is an interesting idea, Ken, but clearly not the same thing....:D;) Edited January 23, 2016 by leaveitallbehind
mistshar Posted January 24, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 24, 2016 I have wondered if it is possible to get the lobster in place of a steak. I would like to get the lobster but there is no way I would be able to eat a steak and a lobster.
cb at sea Posted January 24, 2016 #5 Share Posted January 24, 2016 It's a tail...not the whole lobster...and there's not much meat in the rest of the lobster anyway.
Canadian Tyler Posted January 24, 2016 #6 Share Posted January 24, 2016 At Chops on Freedom last week, it was a whole lobster. The people at the table next to us ordered it with the steak to make a surf and turf for an upcharge. The waiter mentioned if you buy the lobster, they discount 20% off the cover charge. Not sure if this was just a Freedom thing or a special promotion.
Rala Posted January 25, 2016 #7 Share Posted January 25, 2016 It's a tail...not the whole lobster...and there's not much meat in the rest of the lobster anyway. What about the claws? ...my favorite part.
bigkauhuna Posted January 25, 2016 #8 Share Posted January 25, 2016 Checked out Chops menu on the internet and it shows a 1 /1/4 - 1 1/2 lb. whole lobster for an up charge of $21.
cruisinck Posted January 25, 2016 #9 Share Posted January 25, 2016 We always order the lobster in Chops. We make it a surf and turf so each of us gets half. They put the claw meet in the middle on top.

39august Posted January 25, 2016 Author #13 Share Posted January 25, 2016 Well, this explains why I didn't see it. I never look at the upcharge menu!
