Has anyone had this dinning issue before???

I originally booked the 3 meal dining package and then decided to add Illusionarium on as a surprise for my daughter. I later upgraded to the 4 meal dining package and everything was fine with my booking and reservation. Today I decided I wanted to swap La Cucina for La Bistro. I called customer service but when the rep tried to swap a restaurant she stated I owed $80 plus dollars (can't remember the exact amount) to add this on. So I told her never mind just add La Cucina back as it originally was. She tried to switch it back but now it's stating I still owe $80 something dollars. She then states its counting Illusionarium as 1 of my dinners. However I paid full price for Illusionarium $53.09. $35.39 for me and $17.70 for my daughter (she got a discount because she's a child).

Thinking the problem was Illusionarium I asked them to simply remove it, add my fourth meal and then I would go back in and purchase it again. Nope didn't work, instead of it refunding me $53.09 it tried to refund me $35.40 which is the discounted amount for the tickets. I spoke with 3 different reps who spoke with supervisors and still no resolution. They stated it was a computer issue and I had to wait till Monday to get it resolved hopefully. Has anyone else had this issue before? Am I missing something? Thanks for your help and suggestions.

Excuse my typo "Dining issue not dinning" lmbo. Tried to go back and edit the subject but I have no idea what I'm doing. Forgive me [emoji17]

It is not that important, but if you still would like to edit it I believe that you still have a few minutes time to do so. You just choose "Edit" on the bottom of your post, and then choose "Advanced editing" to be able to edit the headline.

NCL's website is all form over function ... it is pretty to look at, but pretty awful to actually do anything you need to do.

Call them on Monday. Maybe if we all stop using the website, which is the least expensive way for NCL to service their customers, and call them for everything (the most expensive way for NCL), they will fire the web designers and get it fixed.

It is interesting that you were able to get child pricing as I thought they had eliminated that some months ago.

That's what the customer service rep said too but she did a mock booking and the child pricing showed up. I guess NCL is not consistent with their pricing at all.

So true, either way it's a gamble. If u speak to the wrong rep they could destroy your reservation... you could also destroy your own reservation so I guess it's a win win. Lol

I haven't had that specific issue, but I do believe there is a glitch in the system. I have the SDP as a perk when I booked, and when I booked my specialty restaurants, it said I had to pay 0.00. Now, if I try to change anything, it wants to charge me. I also noticed some restaurants show a la carte now, so it's clear they are making website changes.

I'm sure you will be able to get it all sorted out on the phon with NCL tomorrow. :)

Hey everyone thanks so much for your help, it's all resolved. It was a system issue, they had me booked for the Illusionarium twice even though it only showed once on their website. The system tried to use one of my Illusionarium bookings as part of my meal plan or some foolishness. Thanks again for your help

Hmmm I find the NCL site the easiest of all cruise line sites to use! RCCL and CARN are horrible.

Going off topic here, but I agree the RCCL website design is horrid and how it responds/ displays is the worst and it is especially tablet unfriendly.
