Star Princess Aft Deck Plan Question

We booked an aft premium balcony cabin (C752) on the Star for our Alaska cruise in May. When looking closely at the aft Caribe deck plan, I just noticed that there is a doorway that appears to open to a small outside deck area. Does anyone know if that is indeed an outside area accessible to passengers? This same aft doorway appears on decks 8-12, on both port and starboard sides.

Not an outside area. As noted its crew stairs on either side of the ship.

They are used during muster.

That is not deck access. It is access to stairs used by the crew and only used by passengers when you go to the muster on the first day or in a real emergency.

Where is the location of the muster drill for Caribe aft passengers? I know it will be in the Patter, but just curious.

Vista Lounge

It is not in the Patter. It is on the inside of the door to your cabin.

When you exit your cabin just look nearby and you will see a Princess employee to guide you in the correct direction. No worries.:)
