Duty Free Shops at Cruise Port

We will be spending our 1st day of our cruise in Barbados. As P&O allow their passengers to take alcohol on board to enjoy a 'small aperitif' in their cabin, I was wondering if there are any good reasonable liquor stores close to the port ? It would make more sense to buy our supplies here rather than carry all the way from the airport duty free in the UK.

There is a good range of duty free shops and liquor stores on the Quayside. Liquor stores also sell mixers.

Yes there are duty free shops right there selling spirits, wine and mixers.

You can buy liquor right in the cruise ship terminal.

The store is very easy to find.

Last time we sailed we bought in St Thomas and got great deals?

St. Thomas and St. Maarten prices are lower.

Also, you have a larger duty free exemption if bring liquor back to U.S. if you purchase in St. Thomas. (U.S.V.I.)

For liquor I would go with St. Thomas.

If you shop at A.H. Riise in St. Thomas, they will deliver your liquor to the ship so you don't have to lug it around.
