Freedom has two kinds of dining in the Main Dining Room:

 

Traditional: you pick one of two fixed times, early or late. You keep the same wait staff, tablemates, and table.

 

My Time: you can eat any time you want. You can make reservations, or just show up, or any combination, your choice. You may or may not have the same table and wait staff.

Not a fan of My time - it is not organized at all, and I have found I am treated like an outcast when I try to show up without a reservation.

Different from anytime on another line - you are expected to book and they frown on you changing it on different nights. Often have to wait for 1/2 hour or more for a table. Both when I travel solo and with my family as a group.

We had the same server on Allure for the whole week, and she would be very grumpy if we just showed up - we were actually hoping for a different table/staff to get away from her - one of the reasons we came down 1 hour later one night.
