Rare Trish Traveler Posted January 26, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2016 We are flying in the same day that we sail, so we thought it might be a good idea to book the Carnival transfers in case there are any flight delays. But I was wondering, how early do the Carnival bus transfers begin to depart from FLL to the port? I have read that you might have to sit a long time on the bus waiting for it to fill up. What have been people's experiences with the Carnival transfers out of FLL? I know cabs are cheaper, but this sounded easier when booking. Does Carnival allow you to cancel the transfer on your reservation prior to departure? Thanks.
Rare nydney1 Posted January 26, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2016 We did a cab on our last cruise and it was a piece of cake. The cab was about $
sb4ever Posted January 26, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 26, 2016 Get a cab; you can be out and on your way in no time! FLL is the easiest port to get to from the airport!
John Reid Posted January 26, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 26, 2016 A cab is way easier, cheaper, and faster.
Jenhem31 Posted January 27, 2016 #5 Share Posted January 27, 2016 Get a cab! Way cheaper, I think a flat rate of $24.

erinmarie424 Posted January 27, 2016 #7 Share Posted January 27, 2016 Took a taxi last year and would recommend it over a carnival transfer.

John Reid Posted January 27, 2016 #9 Share Posted January 27, 2016 Get a cab! Way cheaper, I think a flat rate of $24. Less than that. They are on a meter. I have had a low of $13 and a high of $18 before tip. The difference is in how long a delay there might be at the entrance (you have to show ID) or how distant your ship is from the entrance.
