The Captain's Reception last year on Serenade out of NOLA the waiters were walking around passing out champagne even at the doors to the dining rooms. While we were waiting to have our photos taken we were served quite well! :p

Sometmes you get an invitation card. Sometimes the party is listed in a welcome letter.
