NCL slide skirt.

7:22pm - back in room after Aqua Racer twice (dbl then sgl), and drop slide once. Aqua Racer was great! For the drop slides, they apparently no longer have the 3-2-1 countdown like on the Breakaway.

I actually just came close to tearing up while walking into Taste. It's our first MDR visit this trip, and naturally we were seated at the exact table location where we celebrated my parents' 50th wedding anniversary on the Breakaway last August.

A photo from that magical night...

Never trust the time on your cell phone while on a cruise, ever...

A little trick for the time issue,, go into your Time and Date settings (under general on iPhones or iPads) and turn off 'Set Automatically' until you return to proper cell/wifi signal.

Doug - I decided to share your review with my wife as we were looking at Coki Beach and Coral World. Of course led to looking at your dinner pictures. That then led to "I wish there was a picture of the wine by the glass menu"... Just a reason to stop by a different bar on your way "home". They say "Variety is the spice of life!"

Following you every morning and night. Great stuff.

For the Drop slides, do they have you wear one of those back boards?

Nope. At least not if you approach the slide and you're 6'4" and 240lbs.

My sister got "stuck" on the breakaway slide. They say that if you're close to the weight requirement (100lbs,), that the board will ensure low resistance / less chance of getting stuck. Not sure at this point if this remains true on Escape.

Earlier request - craft cocktails at the brew house.

Thanks so much for the post!

Now I can put the final touches on my precruise excel spreadsheet drinking matrix!

I can see now it will be bourbon heavy.

3 days 4 hours and 39 minutes!

Thanks again for your trouble.
