macfam76 Posted January 30, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2016 Just a quick question, if our cruise drops in price, and we get a price adjustment, do we get $ back or on OBC? Thanks!!
Rare Keith1010 Posted January 30, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 30, 2016 This varies by cruise line. Keith

CruiserBruce Posted January 30, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 30, 2016 (edited) Best place to ask is the Carnival board, here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=215 With some cruise lines the way they "refund" will vary by the amount to be refunded. Getting it back is cash is the least likely, as they will try to make sure you spend the money on board. Just like so many other businesses that give you store cash cards, or similar. sfaaa Posted February 1, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 1, 2016 If you are before final payment, you pay the lower price which is equivalent to cash back. If after, you can use OBC as cash to offset gratuities charged to your account. Either way, this translates to real cash saving in your pocket.
