Do you recall if they offered the drink punch card on your cruise? We're on Adventure in 9 days and are interested in that instead of a drink package.

I just looked through the paperwork from the ship, and they did offer a ten-drink card, but not until the last day (it was on the Day 7 offers of the day). "Last Day Beverage Package Special: Ten Drink Card $75 Get any 10 HOUSE drinks for $75. Perfect to share on the last sea day."

Would be a good deal earlier in the week.

January 22nd: Sea Day- We needed this day to relax! We went to the ice show in the afternoon- fantastic! I still cannot believe what the skaters can do on such a small ice surface!

The rest of the day was for walking around, enjoying the ship and packing.

Tonight was the only night we went to the casino. We’re not big gamblers; just play the penny slot machines. We left with a t-shirt and a few cents more than we started with.

January 23rd: Home- Somehow we got #2 tags, so after breakfast we headed off the ship. We found our luggage, and headed to the long line. It didn’t take too long, and we got a taxi to the airport.

Originally, I booked a flight from San Juan to Fort Lauderdale to Boston. Then Jet Blue emailed that they changed it from Fort Lauderdale to New York. Yikes! I had to call about a different matter, so I asked about it and told them I was concerned about changing planes in New York with less than an hour in winter (which is why I picked Florida). They offered to change it to a non-stop from San Juan to Boston (no additional cost) – I was very happy. She couldn’t guarantee that we’d sit together (hey, we’ve seen each other all week, I was sure it would be fine). We made it to Boston (about 20 minutes earlier than expected), got the bus to Nashua, and made it home by 6:00pm.

Come to find out, that flight to New York was cancelled.

Do you recall, by chance, if the Adventure still has a golf simulator on the sports deck? If so any idea of the pricing?

Sorry, I had to look through the compass!! It's on the Sports Deck Decks 13&14 aft, "Please enquire at the inline Skate Shop during open hours, (a $25 fee applies)."

Hope that helps

Thank you so much for the compasses and the amazing review. I will be talking my husband on his first cruise in august (my 3rd) and our forest time on adventure. Our itinerary is different but this will give him an idea of what we can find. I was on vision last year and was panicked by the negative reviews, but it was an amazing first cruise and I'm sure adventure will be the same!

Enjoy reading your review with answers so far. We are doing the AOTS the first week in April, but a different itinerary. We are doing St. Croix, which you mentioned also.

I hope to read more about this ship, etc., in your review.:)

Oh, like the pictures too.

Thank you for these great, detailed reviews! We are going on AOTS in March, same itinerary, with a group of 18 family members - mostly first time cruisers. We've already booked Calabaza so I was happy to read your review. Thanks again!!:)

Thank you so much! I've been asking around for a few weeks & no one has been able to help.

When you took pictures there at the ice show, did you have your flash off? They were good, that is why I ask.:)

Yes, I used my Canon Rebel xti with the flash off. Only the pictures where they were standing still or moving slow came out, but I keep trying!

Thank you all for the nice comments. Both Scott and I loved this cruise - and the ship. In fact, we'll be sailing her again September 3rd, and can't wait!!!
