Taxi cost FLL Airport to Port of Miami

Looking at options to get from Ft Lauderdale airport to Port of Miami. open to different suggestions.

As very commonly discussed here, shuttles like SAS, QLS, GO Shuttle and a couple others are used, at about $15pp. Taxi is $85 or so.

Just used QLS. Shared shuttle. Great service to and from. $15 pp.

If it is a special occasion, or you just prefer to arrive in style, private car service from Go Airport or Larry's Limos is usually not too much more than cab fare. ;)

I had a bad experience with SAS in a chain of emails when I mistakenly asked for a 3:50 PM FLL pickup when they do not pickup after 3 PM. My last email from SAS stated, "I'm sorry you cannot read". I would walk, with my bags, before I called them again.

 

I used Lyft and Friday, 6:40 PM, FLL to downtown Miami, Intercontinental hotel was $44

SAS guy is a real sarcastic jerk. Before he got in trouble for being a FTL registered company poaching on Miami guys I called him.He kept telling me I lived in a hotel.I lived in a big condo bldg. Finally hung up. As I understand, he can only do RTs to/from Miami area. Use the shuttle stand outside FLL airport luggage pickup. You sometimes even get a Towncar for same prices as shared shuttle. They run 24 hours.
