summersigh Posted February 24, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2016 There was an article in the Orlando Sentinal today saying that after the Magic goes to dry dock this spring .... "Sunshine is making way for Magic, which is coming from Galveston and will mark the return of the line's largest class of ship since Carnival Dream left in 2014." Does anyone know since, for the most part, the Sunshine is based out of Port Canaveral ..... Where is the Sunshine being moved to?

Cruising Sparty Posted February 24, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 24, 2016 I don't know of all the details (they should be easy to figure out), but I know that she will be sailing out of New York this fall. We just booked the Sunshine out of Port Canaveral for May of 2017, so don't worry, she'll be back. Not sure when, but at least by next Spring. cruzeluver Posted February 24, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 24, 2016 Yep, the round trip Journeys cruises have sold really well. Ours at the end of May has been sold out for months already and we are still more than three months out. And the prices went through the roof! So glad we booked early. EdmundXXIII Posted February 29, 2016 #13 Share Posted February 29, 2016 For 2016 and 2017, Sunshine is alternating 4 home ports: Port Canaveral, Charleston, Norfolk, New York.
