olemissreb Posted March 8, 2016 #6 Share Posted March 8, 2016 I've got a couple: Ole Saint for the BBQ Shrimp - yes, the heads are still on the JUMBO shrimp (for those of you not from the South). It's got just the right amount of spice that your lips go numb but not so much you can't taste the shrimp. It's on the menu as an appetizer, but can easily be an entree. Central Grocery for muffulettas! Get your sandwich to go then go a couple doors down (in the direction of Jackson Sq) and get some wine/beer/soft drinks (make sure you get "go cups") and go eat & drink on the levee.
