Want private tours from ship:Rome, Naples

We will be on Eurodam which will be in Naples 6/29/16, Rome 6/30/16 and would like to find or share a private tour from the Civitavecchia port to and from Rome ( full day) and a similar tour from the Naples cruise terminal ( downtown) to and from Pompei. Keith has given you excellent advice...there are several mentioned on this board almost daily, including the huge thread on the wonderful Rome in Limo, which we have used several times.

 

For sharing tours, check your roll call, which is where on Cruise Critic people set up tour shares. Rome in Limo also has a portion of their website set up to arrange tour shares.

Another source to check is Tripadvisor. Just type in the city, add "tours" and lots of tour operators will come up. Some are specifically for cruisers. You can also read up on the reviews of the tour operators and pick one that you are most comfortable with.
