FSUNole Posted March 17, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2016 How much would you pay to go from a mid-hump JS to a GS or OS on a 5 day cruise?
Clarea Posted March 17, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2016 This is very subjective, because it depends on the perks one gets without being in a suite. We love the JS and love the mid-hump location, so would not move to a GS, even if it was free. Might go to the OS for a couple of hundred just to get that inside dining table. I kind of have the same thought on the GS. I had a hump JS on Allure and really liked it.

Plus, if you are already D or above, you're getting the lounge benefit that a full suite would get, so that may change the math a bit. However, the full suite would get breakfast and lunch access to Coastal Kitchen. Edited March 17, 2016 by clarea
marci22 Posted March 17, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 17, 2016 I think I would pay up to $300 extra total for the 5 days. I would definitely take it if it was free!

molly361 Posted March 17, 2016 #7 Share Posted March 17, 2016 (edited) We were offered an upsell on a 5 day cruise last year from a JS to a GL for $400. We declined. We are D+ so already had CL access. This was on the Explorer. I "might" have taken it at $200 Edited March 17, 2016 by molly361
cruiselife4me Posted March 17, 2016 #8 Share Posted March 17, 2016 $200 max. They are nice though.
Debitoo Posted March 17, 2016 #9 Share Posted March 17, 2016 I might be in the minority here but I rather prefer the JS to the GS. I like the layout better. But if it was free, I'd take it! :D
Clarea Posted March 17, 2016 #10 Share Posted March 17, 2016 Not diamond... I've been gone. Did they remove the Diamond Lounge?

Nccruiser01 Posted March 17, 2016 #13 Share Posted March 17, 2016 We were booked in a GS, forward, for our upcoming 6 nite NOS cruise. The upsell fairy called an offered us a mid-hump OS for a total of $900 more. We took it! It was definitely a splurge though. Not sure I would do it again. PhoenixCruiser Posted March 17, 2016 #14 Share Posted March 17, 2016 On the Liberty we paid $500 to move from a JS to a OS, 5 night cruise. ###
