highlandlassie Posted March 25, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 25, 2016 As you can see from my signature I tend to stick to the smaller ships and Thomsons - saw Epic one time in port and decided to go on her one day. Just hope it is not too big for me as didn't care much for RCL. We got a good deal balcony of my choosing free drinks package and free wifim, which I will probably not use. Has anyone tried the ice bar, how cold is it really - want to try it thanks

Rare BirdTravels Posted March 25, 2016 #6 Share Posted March 25, 2016 (edited) The bar staff provide you with gloves and a poncho. Then you take your gloves off so you can take pictures until your fingers freeze. Then you sit on the ice to take more pictures until your butt freezes. The drinking cups are all made of ice. It is good fun. Once. The more challenging thing to try was moving from the sauna or steam room on the Escape into the Snow Room,,,, and see how long your can stay their. More good cruise fun.
