I think kids are great in moderation, I just don't want a boat full so which week do you guys think would have less kids between the following 2 cruises.

 

Oct. 16 6 day on the Splender

 

Oct. 30 6 day on the Splender

Dont know why either week would have many as it should be school weeks

Where the ship will be sailing from will play a role.

 

My Magic 8 balls shows they ship will be overrun with home schooled kids.

Oct 30 will have the halloween celebration onboard so more kids that week.

That right there is what I was wondering was about the Halloween Cruise. It is cheaper by like 50 bucks but I do not know if it will be worth it to have more kids.

Check when Fall Break and Canadian Thanksgiving are. Being in California we don't have either.

I think that there would be more kids on Fall break during the week of October 16, but that's a guess based on when we usually have Fall breaks where I live.

In San Diego, our fall break is Sep 17th - Oct 3.

We have several friends and family with kids who will not cruise over Halloween because their kids would miss school and neighborhood parties and activities. I would pick the late October cruise.

Canadian Thanksgiving is October 10.

We did Oct 17, 2013 NCL Jewel out of NOLA...very few families. Mostly middle aged couples like us.
