Rainy season causing concern

Hi,

 

We're cruising to the Mexican Riviera July 2, 2016 and I just found out this is the rainy season!! Has anyone travelled to the Mexican Riviera during July and had problems with the rain? We're planning to do mostly water excursions and I'm wondering if we should cancel. The excursions say rain or shine but I'm from southern California and when we get rain it sucks. :(

We had one Mexican Riviera cruise in July, and it did rain one day. Seas were moderate and days were cool on the way back to LA.

We've traveled in July and not had problems either.

My understanding is that the rainy season is in the fall, especially October, not as much in summer.

July 2nd Is at the very beginning of the rainy season. No one can predict the expected rain that far out. You may get some shower's as well as you may not. Based on my experience born and living in the Caribbean I would say June would have an average of 20% days with some rain. Does not necessarily mean it will rain all day on those days either.

The Caribbean is having an extreme dry season this year.

Nobody mentions it in the Pacific, but it is also hurricane season for the Eastern Pacific...EM
