pettrib Posted June 5, 2016 #27 Share Posted June 5, 2016 THAT agent is totally wrong. I choose my check-in time long before I paid in full and that cruise final payment date is November something. Really??!!! Well that is good to know. Thanks!
JIslandGirl Posted June 5, 2016 #28 Share Posted June 5, 2016 Is there Staggered Board in Charleston? We are Plantinum so will board early, but are traveling with family who are not. Do they turn you away if you show up before you boarding time?

It will be rolling out in Norfolk starting June 10, 2016.

Freckle53 Posted June 6, 2016 #32 Share Posted June 6, 2016 I called Carnival because I completed my on-line check-in & didn't see a time to select. The agent told me that you have to be paid-in-full before it will let you select a time. I can confirm that is not true too. We were booked for an Aug 2017 cruise from Miami and I did pick the check in time and we were not paid in full. We canceled that and rebooked for the same week out of New Orleans instead and even though NO is also staggered, there isn't anywhere to pick a check in time yet. I don't know if it varies by port or ship or the phase of the moon. If it will allow you to pick a time, it was pretty obvious on the site with the online check-in. If it's not there, it just is not there for whatever reason. It isn't hidden at all when it is there.
