Feelin' Nauti' Posted April 14, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2016 Have a question about the amount of times you are allowed to visit a specialty restaurant. For our 14 day cruise I first thought it was 6 going by the chart on this site. https://www.ncl.com/termsandconditions/choicejan2016 I booked back in Feb but now I was told by NCL rep it's 4. (called about obc) So I did a search and came upon this http://www.agents-uk.ncl.eu/freeterms.php Promotion for new bookings made between 11 April and 30 June 2016 Can anyone confirm exactly how many visits you are entitled to. You can eat in specialty restaurants as many times as you want on your cruise. If you are asking how many days you have with a promo you received, it would be whatever you were given with your promo at the time you booked. That's what you will get. If you were given 2, then it's 2. If you were given 8, then it's 8. Nothing has changed for you, unless you've changed it. But your question about how many times you can eat in specialties? There is no limit. You can pay to eat there twice a night if you want. Edited April 15, 2016 by LrgPizza

So I did a search and came upon the NCL terms site which states for my length of cruise 14 dayer 6 dining package meals. Today I called to asked about the promo with OBC ( which I didn't receive). The NCL rep stated I am only entitled to 4. After I hung up. Thought about it and said wait, I thought I was entitled to 6. So here I am trying to figure out the exact amount. Rare BirdTravels Posted April 15, 2016 #4 Share Posted April 15, 2016 The CURRENT promotion (today) is The first two guests receive 3 meals on 5- to 9-night cruises and 4 meals on 10+ night sailings in our award-winning specialty restaurants. esm54687 Posted April 15, 2016 #5 Share Posted April 15, 2016 (edited) You should have received an email from NCL when you made your reservation that summarized your booking... A confirmation invoice that has your promo codes in the upper right.... what are the codes? According to the chart and your recollection of the date you booked..... it appears you have 6 dining.... are you sure you booked in the promo window? What was NCL's reason for less? KellyABelly Posted April 15, 2016 #8 Share Posted April 15, 2016 Did they do something to get you that OBC? Maybe cancel and rebook? Then you'd get stuck with whatever the current promo is I believe.

Then you'd get stuck with whatever the current promo is I believe. New promo has the OBC $100. So I called to request it. They said if I cancel and rebook, It would cost me $43.20 more and dining would change from 4 meals to 3. I said forgetaboutit. :o After I hung up that's when It hit me, it's not 4 meals but 6.
TheDougOut Posted April 15, 2016 #10 Share Posted April 15, 2016 Can we determine how many days were received based on the amount of service charge paid for the promo? Under current SDP rates: $12.42pp service charge = 3 day $15.12pp service charge = 4 day $17.82pp service charge = 5 day ...

Under current SDP rates: $12.42pp service charge = 3 day $15.12pp service charge = 4 day $17.82pp service charge = 5 day ... Under the current terms they are only giving -5-9 Nights 3 meals 10+ Nights 4 meals. No 5 meals. Meals are charge by length of cruise not by the service charge. Unless you have proof otherwise. When I booked it was as follows -- 5-6 Nights -- 3 -- $10.62 7-9 Nights -- 4 -- $13.32 10-12 Nights -- 5 -- $16.02 13-16 Nights -- 6 -- $18.
TheDougOut Posted April 15, 2016 #13 Share Posted April 15, 2016 I was under the impression that you were trying to determine how many days of SDP you received for your promo. When you got the promo, I believe you paid an 18% service charge on the value. If you have a line item on your invoice for this service charge, you can determine the value of your promo, and subsequently determine how many days you received. LrgPizza Posted April 15, 2016 #14 Share Posted April 15, 2016 ..... What did you pay for your service charge/gratuity on the promo? Since you didn't pay attention to what you booked, people are trying to help you backtrack and figure it out. What did you pay? Do what Doug says above. Just do it. Hi, based on the link you included in your original post: https://www.ncl.com/termsandconditions/choicejan2016 and your booking date (on your invoice): 02/29 You are OUTSIDE the promo window for 6 dinners: Booking Window: 2/1/2016 - 2/21/2016 11:59 pm EST Unless I am completely misreading things.... you are not entitled to

cruisebie Posted April 15, 2016 #18 Share Posted April 15, 2016 Based on your 18.72 charge, it sounds like you have the number of meals you thought. Just for your own comfort level, you might want to call NCL and request an amenity confirmation. It always is better to have things in black & white. LrgPizza Posted April 15, 2016 #19 Share Posted April 15, 2016 $18.72 You have 6 meals to use. Ignore the current promo, since you don't have the current promo. It means nothing to you.

TrixieBel Posted April 16, 2016 #21 Share Posted April 16, 2016 (edited) Of course, if you or your agent updated your booking to get the additional onboard credit recently, then your booking will have been updated to the new conditions and you'll get the lower number of free dining nights...
