Luggage Tags

We are flying from Phila to San Juan, I don't plan on attaching the tags for fear of them coming off. Is there someone at the port who can attach the tags or should I pack a small stapler? Thx

You can pack a stapler, but it might be easier to just have the porters make up tags for you.

If your cruise RCCL regularly, go on Amazon and purchase some plastic sleeves made for the tags. They are sturdy and reusable and inexpensive. Or if your flying in and spending a night in a hotel before your cruise I am sure the hotel will have a stapler.

Recommended that you attach the Tags the night before at your Hotel before going to the Terminal, other wise, the luggage handlers when you check them in can do so.

If you are flying in the morning of the cruise, though as others have said not recommended, put the tags on after you pick up your luggage at the airport. We use the plastic holders from Amazon.

I carry scotch tape and tape (and I do mean layers of tape) them on. Those suckers are not coming off! The tape also comes in handy for taping bottle tops on, etc.

Not in PR, but I brought the luggage tags and a small roll of packing tape, but the porter had a stapler and attached them.

I just let the porters put tags on. I don't bother with arts&crafts, and I can't find the plastic holders since our first Freedom cruise.
