Charles4515 Posted April 18, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 18, 2016 (edited) Any one know if it is running yet? I was thinking of going there next week, but I don't want to go by bus. Thanks! I would expect that they will be running the ferry to St. George regularly during the week with the first arrivals of Breakaway and Summit. jdarch Posted April 28, 2016 #8 Share Posted April 28, 2016 Summer schedule of ferries to St George's is back in effect. The additional high-speed ferry, the Millennium, is leased from the U.S. It is due to leave RI on the 28th, and will arrive at the end of the week. Then when it is "readied" it will be put into service to St George's. I imagine the full service will be in place by the first weekend in May. They've been using a catamaran from their own fleet until the Millennium is ready to go. Edited April 28, 2016 by njhorseman

Where on earth did they come up with another cat from their fleet? I thought they were short a boat...
njhorseman Posted April 29, 2016 #11 Share Posted April 29, 2016 Where on earth did they come up with another cat from their fleet? I thought they were short a boat... They were using the J.L. Cecil Smith the times I checked. They also used it last October when I was there, after the Millennium's charter for the season had expired. Perhaps they repaired some of the cats that had been out of service with mechanical issues.
