cove cabins

Love them!

Have stayed in 3 cove balconies..I prefer them over regular balconies.

You are close to the water..

Partially shaded, due to life boats above you.

Downside is that the restaurants/galleys are deck above you.

Some areas experience some noise.

It is convenient getting to dinner.. :)

We had our first one on the Dream last year. We loved it and the location. I didn't know how I'd like being on a lower deck then we're used to, but we were by the elevators and under the Shore Excursions Desk and it was quiet. It was close to everything. We'd book one again!

opinions experiences on cove cabins ?

We had one on the Breeze and loved it. Obviously, location is very important, so study the deck plans carefully before choosing. Try to avoid booking a cabin directly below the galley. The one we chose was under the Excursions Desk area. We had no noise from above. We did have noisy neighbors, but that can happen anywhere. Something to keep in mind. On occasion, the crew will wash and hose off the sides of the ship. When that happens, the water has a tendency to drip down on the cove balconies, so don't leave anything on your balcony, like sandals or whatever, or your items may get wet.
