Alternate route to Galveston other than Hyw 45

We are driving to Galveston this coming Saturday from OKC. We are concerned about possible closings due to flooding. Just read that a bridge on 45 near the Woodlands is currently closed and more rain is coming. Would a reasonable alternative be to take hwy 105 from Conrow to hwy 59 south to 635 if necessary?

Keep this link handy: http://drivetexas.org/#/7/32.340/-99.500?future=false

It shows all the road closures, deviations, delays etc. Simply zoom into the area you interested to take a closer look.

Flood waters in the Houston area are receding. I-45S is open all the way to Galveston. There is freeway construction beginning at FM:2351 to NASA 1. Depending on your travel time, expect traffic to slow down a bit in that area.
