We are on the Eclipse going to the Baltic next month. Have just received an e-mail with dress codes on it, we are a little confused when it says t-shirts are not allowed in MDR ? My husband will always dress for the evening in suit, or smart trousers and shirt and tie, but in mornings would normally put on trousers and plain round neck short sleeved t-shirt to go to breakfast in the MDR or lunch there, is this not allowed? Just so we know what best to pack.

The t-shirt will be fine for breakfast and lunch, as long as it is the kind with short sleeves. The sleeveless shirts are what they object to.

That makes sense, we have been on Cunard a couple of times and tidy t-shirts were acceptable. Thank you.

On future posts you should put a Subject or ? In the title rather than your screen name. This post could have been titled Dress at Breakfast? That way folks can respond who have the info you are looking for.
