kapcruiser Posted May 6, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 6, 2016 I just read that getaway has washing machines and dryers for self laundry, is there a laundry room on each deck?
triptolemus Posted May 6, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 6, 2016 Where'd you read that? No public laundry rooms. Laundry SERVICE is available, however.

Rare mking8288 Posted May 6, 2016 #6 Share Posted May 6, 2016 The newer NCL megaships never had self-service laundry for passengers. However, once upon a time, some of the older Dawn/Jewel class ships had self-service laundry - an "inside" room on several passenger decks, even an ironing board for use. We saw it & looked in there back in 2003 and also saw the dryers - there're actually folks waiting there - we didn't use it. They were still open in 2005 and thru 2007 before they're closed as by 2008-2009, all gone. "Dawn, Jewel, Pride of Hawaii (Jade), Pearl, and Gem have self service laundries. Talk to your room steward to see if they will put through one bag per person
