Getaway Laundry Room

NO Norwegian ship has a self serve laundry.

I have been on The Getaway 7 times and know for a fact She does not have self service laundry.

Well, if you want to be annoyingly accurate, the ship does have self-service laundry.

For the crew.

The newer NCL megaships never had self-service laundry for passengers. However, once upon a time, some of the older Dawn/Jewel class ships had self-service laundry - an "inside" room on several passenger decks, even an ironing board for use. We saw it & looked in there back in 2003 and also saw the dryers - there're actually folks waiting there - we didn't use it. They were still open in 2005 and thru 2007 before they're closed as by 2008-2009, all gone. "Dawn, Jewel, Pride of Hawaii (Jade), Pearl, and Gem have self service laundries. "

If you search old threads "Guest Launderette" here on CC - you will see the questions & discussions. Free to use for guests, $1 for the laundry detergent or BYO + bring your own dryer sheets.

Our decades-old solutions: Ex-Officio Apparel & alike fabrics from LL Beans and Eddie Bauer - quick drying overnight, easy to hand wash in the sink with Woolite or equivalent.

Mid-week, you will get the opportunity to "fill-a-bag" for $20. Other days, laundry is charged by the piece

Will they allow you to do two bags for $40? Or is it strictly one bad per room?
