rayness Posted May 15, 2016 #32 Share Posted May 15, 2016 Love the review. I'm actually in the process of moving to Northern California next year. I currently live in Florida and enjoy cruising from here so it will be bittersweet. I noticed these cruises and thought they were interesting so thanks for posting. If you moving to California you could do like the ultimate Alaskan from San Francisco or other potential pacific coastal cruises. Rare ollienbertsmum Posted May 15, 2016 #36 Share Posted May 15, 2016 Phew for a while there I thought that 'we' were going to miss the cruise. I have to say that there seem to be very few other passengers showing in your photos. Was the ship empty?
shadowmeboy Posted May 15, 2016 Author #37 Share Posted May 15, 2016 Phew for a while there I thought that 'we' were going to miss the cruise. I have to say that there seem to be very few other passengers showing in your photos. Was the ship empty? We felt like we were going to miss it and see our friends sail off without us. Since it was a short repo there were only 800 or so passengers.
shadowmeboy Posted May 16, 2016 Author #38 Share Posted May 16, 2016 Dazzle's We went to the Photo Gallery and looked at the pictures. We choose to get the boarding photo and thes next two photos. We all decided it was time to turn in and headed back to our staterooms. Home Sweet Home for the night.

SeahawkSiren Posted May 16, 2016 #45 Share Posted May 16, 2016 A Washington State Ferry, from Bremerton, WA, passing by West Seattle on its way to Colman Dock. So glad you made the ship, I was worried there for awhile! Thank you for the review and the photos. I enjoyed everything. I may have to consider one of these overnight cruises. It would be nice to enjoy a trip with smaller crowds. We live in such a beautiful part of the country. I commute to work on the Bremerton to Seattle ferry. And when the long ferry commute gets to me, I remind myself to think about how much I love living here and the beauty of this area. The sacrifice is worth it to me. Enjoy your Alaska cruise next month!

Was this only a one night cruise? yes. The Jewel did a Los Angeles to Vancouver leg, then did a 1 night Vancouver to Seattle. It then started its Alaska roundtrips from Seattle. The sacrifice is worth it to me. Enjoy your Alaska cruise next month! You should. I am glad to share. There is a one nighter Seattle to Vancouver in September on the Pearl. We did the Seattle to Vancouver last fall and there were only like 600 people total. We got a $49 pp Balcony stateroom. We do live in such a beautiful area and we often don't appreciate it effectively. The DW and I are looking forward to the Alaskan Cruise.
