Jax is nice and convenient for you to sail out of.

we've sailed out of Jacksonville several times, once muster is over, stay outside, and go up to the top decks, going under the Dames Pointe Bridge is one of the high lights of the cruise.

 

it's a nice gentle river cruise until about dinner time, and then you are

sailing south along the coast until the next day.
