luv2gonow Posted May 20, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 20, 2016 Hi, I have beverage package I know it is a $15 drink max. Anyone know how much a double costs say a baybreeze? I have the package on Baltic cruise and will be mostly touring so maximum isn't an issue. . Also can you only get one drink per person? Or can I get one for my husband ? Thanks Kerr

Rare KeithJenner Posted May 20, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 20, 2016 I have been given doubles no problem in the past. It is supposed to be just one drink per person. However, if there is more than one of you then they usually just put it against one of the cards. They should want to see all the cards, but often they don't bother, especially if they know you. Usually, after a day or two we find that there are a few barstaff who we can get drinks for both of us from, despite not both being there. I usually make sure I have both cards in case they ask, but it's quite rare that they actually do ask.

Thanks Kerr Did a Baltic cruise a few years ago and loved it! :D I don't know about ordering a double, but if both you and your husband have UBP you can take both cards to the bar and get a drink for each of you. If you find a bar you frequent, the bartender will often not even ask for the card as he or she will recognize you. On my last cruise, I didn't have UBP as I was in a studio and when I booked, they weren't offering UBP with studio bookings. I was having dinner one evening in Cagney's with a friend who did have UBP and when the waiter asked if we wanted more wine, he took just my friend's card. We had to tell him that only one of us had UBP. So I think it depends on what the waiter or bartender you're dealing with does.

helen haywood Posted May 22, 2016 #7 Share Posted May 22, 2016 My husband fell in love with NCL on our first cruise with them on Getaway when he asked for a B&B at the Atrium Bar and the bartender's response was "A double, sir? Your package includes it." Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
