We're staying by the Needle, need a sea food place that also has food for non sea food peeps.

Know about Iver's but dont' want to taxi anywhere. And also need burgers or something for our buds.

Any ideas within walking distance?

I will let others answer that are more familiar with restaurants in the Space Needle area, but the monorail is also a quick trip to downtown, where there will be a lot more options. You can catch it right next to the Space Needle.

How far is walking distance, and which hotel? Many of the nearby restaurants are to the west of Seattle Center, while most of the hotels (particularly the chains) are to the east.

Without being a mind reader, look at the food court in the Armory, right in the middle of Seattle Center - http://www.seattlecenter.com/food/ - where there are some good places. I especially like Skillet - https://www.skilletfood.com/restaurant/seattle-center/ - and Mod Pizza.

Close to Seattle Center is a great 24h diner, The 5 Point Cafe - http://the5pointcafe.com/ . For some of the best seafood in town (but nothing else) Taylor's Shellfish is terrific - http://www.taylorshellfishfarms.com/location/queen-anne

At the other end of the monorail, Blueacre Seafood is a short walk, and well worth it - https://www.blueacreseafood.com/

However I'd suggest you do consider taking a cab or Uber(s) to Ivar's Salmon House at the north end of Lake Union for an iconic place with good food and better views. http://www.ivars.com/locations/salmon-house

There is a Dick's Drive-In near the Space Needle at 500 Queen Anne Ave.

The burgers are pretty good.

Thx so much Gardyloo and others...

We are 2 blocks from the needle at Holiday Inn. Speaking of the needle, has anyone eaten up there lately. I looked at the info on the restaurant. Wondering if its worth the hefty price to go up and eat...

Just back from Seattle and Alaska (from Scotland) - so glad we didn't book the Space Needle to dine - sure it was great to go up there - but it just didn't feel right for dining - glad we just did the whistle stop tour :)

A seafood option that has other items would be Salty's at Alki in West Seattle. The water taxi from the ferry terminal docks a couple blocks away from Salty's. The dinner menu does not show it but the Cafe-Bar menu has a Kobe Beef & Bacon burger. And the view back across the Elliott Bay at downtown Seattle is amazing at sunset. Monorail from Space Needle to Westlake and walk or bus to ferry dock. About $5 each way for water taxi (more like floating bus or small ferry). Altogether should not be too much walking.
