Steak House Question

I am reading the web site and am getting what seems is conflicting information on the dress code. On one page I get this "The dress code follows the dress code specified for that evening on board; if the evening is specified as Cruise Casual, shorts are not permitted" and another I get this "Dress Code is Cruise Elegant. Jeans allowed on Cruise Casual evenings" So which is it?

 

I want to go on the first day but really don't feel like dressing up. I also don't really like to try and break rules if I can avoid it. But in this case as I read it the web site conflicts it's self. Thanks guy and gals.

Shorts are not allowed, pants and a shirt or polo will do.

Jeans are fine on casual nights. Shorts not so much, but you might see them.
