trivimp Posted June 6, 2016 #28 Share Posted June 6, 2016 Just off the Pearl, I really enjoyed the Mr. Worldwide... vodka, strawberry, champagne, Pimms, some other stuff. A little fruity without being too sweet.

gilbster Posted June 6, 2016 #31 Share Posted June 6, 2016 I know this may seem like a stupid question but I'll ask anyway...can you get the Chocolate Martini at non Martini bars...on the Spirit in a few weeks and no idea which bar is most likely to have Martinis, but that sounds like my sort of drink? MoxieBride Posted June 7, 2016 #32 Share Posted June 7, 2016 Not a stupid question at all! From my recent experience, some martinis can only be ordered at the martini bar (like my fave, the Lavender). But you should be able to get a chocolate martini at any bar, since they all have the Godiva liquor on hand.

Thanks, it felt like the sort of thing I should have worked out, but given it took until the last night of my first cruise on the Epic to even look at the Martini menu and order any...then forgot about Martinis on the Getaway and Jade, I feel my knowledge is definitely lacking. Not a huge drinker, don't have the drinks package, but do like the occasional mixed drink...or just a Baileys!

Manxcruiser Posted June 7, 2016 #35 Share Posted June 7, 2016 Let's see..we are just off the Spirit but I remember the following Rum Runner Toma Mango Meltdown Lava Flow Long Island Ice Tea Rebellious Fish Bloody Mary's were pretty good They did make me a Pornstar Martini but very reluctantly I didn't like the Lavender Patch. It tasted to much like flowers. The Aviator was pretty good. Most of the Martini's were nice. We had the UBP and worked our way through the Martini's. People were buying the Martini Flights for $19.95 and had the UBP...why people? You can get a larger size and not pay extra.

Just got off the Spirit. Champagne Charley's is the Martini Bar. They make just about anything..saying that I asked for a Pornstar Martini and the bartender made one but under duress. They have to account for the measures he said and it wasn't on their computer system. I also didn't see a chocolate martini on the menu there either. The apple martini was nice. I was drinking Rum Runners by the pool. Galaxy of the Stars bar makes them but Champagne Charlie's won't.

If they won't make it, that's fine but knowing the best bar to ask at is always good! May try the Apple Martini in that case!

PNWMomma Posted June 8, 2016 #41 Share Posted June 8, 2016
I will be following this thread...non drinker..(well 4 times a year...Xmas, New Years, birthday and anniversary) who has the beverage package and wants to try new things. I like fruity, sweet and frozen, and dislike any strong alcohol tastes. I love amaretto sours, and strawberry daiquiris, but want to try something different.
I can't speak to ship specific drinks, but you may like a midori sour.
