Beach towels to take off ship?

I know someone will correct me if I am wrong. I remember there being beach towels available as you got off the ship. Not all the time. But I remember them at times. Am I right or wrong???

Not seen that,but it's a good idea. We had to request ours,as they were not in our room.

On the Island in February we just picked them up from the pool the day before and I think we just left them in our room for the steward afterwards. I did see some as we left the ship sometimes but not always.

They must have just changed things on the Emerald.

I hope they have them at all hours of the day & night since the last thing I want to do before leaving the ship early in the morning for the beach is go to the pool area & find out there are none around.

That's exactly what we faced. Our steward had to run some down for us so we could get off the ship in port. It's not a good situation.

Our steward always had a supply in the room. Strange. :confused:

When I'm heading to the beach early morning, I do not want to have to worry if the towels are out yet poolside. If they begin that routine I'm going to take a dozen at a time & store them in the room.
