tomahawk246 Posted June 6, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2016 What is the story with formal nights on Anthem? Do I need to bring formal wear?
reallyitsmema Posted June 6, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 6, 2016 What is the story with formal nights on Anthem? Do I need to bring formal wear? Totally up to you. Anthem has Dynamic Dining so if you want to eat in Grande, then you need formal wear, or at least a jacket for men. Other complimentary restaurants are casual. Biker19 Posted June 7, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 7, 2016 What is the story with formal nights on Anthem? Do I need to bring formal wear? There are no formal nights on Quantum class ships (Quantum, Anthem and Ovation) like other ships in the fleet - you make your own formal night when you want to eat at the Grande venue. The dress code is relaxed on the first night in Grande, so you could sample it that day without formal wear.
sharonlacey Posted June 7, 2016 #4 Share Posted June 7, 2016 IMO it is worth getting dressed up the food and service is more upscale then the other venues. We ate at this restaurant 3 times on our last cruise and the service was outstanding and food is very good. Plus the menu is very nice.
cruise47 Posted June 7, 2016 #5 Share Posted June 7, 2016 Does anyone has a current copy of the menu that they can display?

DonnaK Posted June 7, 2016 #7 Share Posted June 7, 2016 (edited) The formal dress code is also relaxed on the last night. We didn't bring formal clothes, and we reserved the Grande for the first and last night. I agree with the above poster. The Grande has the strongest menu and the best service. Actually, on the other nights, as long as you are dressed nicely, you can dine in the Grande. Not everyone is dressed formally there. The only true requirement is no shorts, and a jacket for men. They have loaner jackets for men who don't have them, and you can just wear it into the restaurant and then drape it over the back of your chair. Amagamma Posted June 7, 2016 #8 Share Posted June 7, 2016 If you have DD Classic, you have no choice in when you eat in Grande, correct? I read somewhere that you won't know your rotation until you get to your stateroom.
