After playing all week with some small wins and more losses, on the last day I had a hand-pay on Ultimate X Video Poker. I was playing 10cent 5-play and my starting hand was four to a royal. Luckily the 5th card came in on a hand with a 10X multiplier for $4000. Nice to carry money off the ship for a change:D

NICE one! I luv that game. Played it on Breakaway, & same thing, dimes, hit a RF on one of the hands but only 4X mult for $1,600.

Nice! We had 2 hand pays on our 5/29 on the Getaway....dealt 4 3s on a 10 play $.25 triple double, hit 5 kickers for $3,000, and hit 4 Aces on 1 hand of a 5 play UX $.25, the one with the 8x multiplier, so like $1600 and change. We had a really good trip overall... :)

No doubt. My wife also hit a $.25 royal, and so did both of my parents. We all had a pretty good week! We can home with more than our starting bankroll and got over 10,000 points....pocketed all of the W2G amounts. :)

5 kickers is reeeeallllly good! Congrats! Last year at a vegas casino, I was dealt a royal flush. I know that I will never see that again in my lifetime.

You never know...I have been dealt a royal 3 times, 2 times on single line hands in Vegas (about 10 years apart) and then on a triple play machine once in Black Hawk, CO. I am 37, so been playing for 16 years....my wife who plays about as much as I do, has not had a dealt royal yet.... :)

I've had some good dealt hands at land-based casinos. Had a $13000 dealt royal on 5 play 25ct in Atlantic City. And had a $8000 dealt royal on 10 ct 20 hand Spin Deluxe in Vegas. Every Royal is exciting....wishing good Royal Flush Karma to you all:D

You do realize that ALL of your winnings are reportable and taxable not just those that you get a W2G for right?

That's why you should get a win-loss statement from all the casinos where you play. And if you gamble elsewhere ie: Horse races, etc. that counts as well.

If you lose more than you win, over the year, you won't have to pay.

 

My husband wins - I always loose - I should just stand outside on the deck and throw the money into the ocean -we balance each other out.

Yes. The reason why I take my cash on these wins is the impact to the future comps I get from CAS. Nothing at all related to taxes.
