Bugs and Beatles Questions

I have been in Bermuda seven different times and have never needed bug spray. I have walked the railway trail and walked between Warwick and Horseshoe Beach, never been bothered by bugs. The ocean breeze keeps them away, I believe. Buildings in Bermuda down have screens on their windows. Bugs are rarely a problem on the tropical islands from my experience.

The Beatle Tribute was only done one year, I believe. It was during the summer of 2013 and has not been done since in Bermuda, that I know of.

Whether on a cruise stop or a land vacation we make a point to stop at the Frog & Onion Pub in the Dockyard and enjoy Tony Brannon playing Beatles covers along with other great R&R artists.

I see he's playing with Will Black on Mondays, haven't heard them together.

Our favorite musician on Bermuda is Randy Lambert, we enjoy seeing his band at the Reefs, and for a more lively vibe see if he's playing at Henry thr VIII also on the north shore. Worth getting away from the Dockyard for a fun evening, and you can bus back to the dock from there, just be ready for the last bus at the bus stop at 11:30 or so (check the schedule).

I always pack insect repellent for any trip, came in handy last summer at Telluride, but I have never had to use it in Bermuda. Been to Bermuda in May, June, July, August, September, no bugs.

What you need to keep an eye out for is Portuguese Man of War (jelly fish) on the beaches. I have seen those in May and early June.

Thanks everyone.

I suspected bugs would not be a problem, but I had to prove it to my husband by asking here.

blue_water, I will look into your suggestions. Thanks!

Charles4515, I'm not a fan of saltwater, so no worries about the jellies.:p
