Will someone who has done a b2b on Carnival please let me know how they work? I mean, when do we get our new Sail and Sign card, do we have to complete the check-in again, does the medical card need to be filled out again? We are staying in the same cabin so I won't have to move my luggage.

Since I have been on B2B's that involve US ports, that was a little different. Since you will be in Europe, Mary (Mississauga) mentioned on another thread that S&S cards will probably be put in room the night before, since we don't go through immigration. You don't have to fill out any more paperwork.

You could also ask on our roll calls, since several on there have done Europe B2B's before.

On others that involve US ports, you are either led off the ship in a group or if a large group, customs may come on board. I have done both.

You need to complete The on line check in for both. The actual B2B procedure will be in a letter delivered to your stateroom room at the end of the first cruise. Each ship may be a bit different. Be sure to mention that you are on a B2B to your steward just in case and I stop by GS to make sure I am on their B2B list.

If your cruise originates in a US port and is returning to the same port between the two legs of the B2B, it is very simple and easy! You will be told to meet in a certain location on the ship the morning of debarkation of the first leg. You will be escorted off the ship by a Carnival employee, taken down to customs to turn in your customs declaration form for leg one, given your new S$S card and escorted back on the ship. Easy, easy, easy! Since you are staying in the same cabin, simply tell your cabin steward that you are B2B (I expect he/she will already know that) and you don't have to pack or do anything in your cabin. Hint: you can also advise the cabin steward that you would really like to skip the muster drill for the second leg and most likely you can stay in your cabin for that process. That is, unless you just want to join in the fun! ;)

Have a great B2B!!

I don't think that's your cabin steward's call. Everyone is expected to be at Muster Drill for BOTH legs of their B2B.

As already stated, conditions may be different for this European cruise, especially since I believe there will be a large number (I'm thinking 500 to 1,000) of us waiting with you. We've done a number of B2B and they were all fast and efficiently handled-----here's our last (pictures 138-143) B2B, just click on the link below. Hope to see you in October!

NO exceptions to the Muster Drill. Everyone has to go. That is sometimes why the drill takes so long as they have to make sure everyone is there and they do do a head count.
