Drinks on us limit

Maybe this is common knowledge but I had never heard it before. The drinks on us card in the casino carries the same 15 drink per day limit as the cheers package. On the Splendor last week my son had the drinks on us card and during one of the sea days when we where in the casino all day, he hit the limit that night and they would give him no more.

Did they sell him more?

DOU and Cheers Even if you have both it's only 15 drinks a day. Not 30

Personally, have never been aware of a limit at the casino. The beverage service is so slow, I can't imagine being even ABLE to receive 15 drinks! But, I am a slot player, if someone plays tables, they seem to get better service. Since we also do Cheers!, my husband and I take turns, bringing a drink to which ever one of us is stuck at the machine with no beverage service in sight. As, we haven't, ever, I guess, hit the limit, wasn't aware the 2 are hooked together. I will pay better attention next time, as this post makes me wonder.

At the beginning of DOU there wasn't a limit

Even though it's only 15 drinks total you can use the cheers card anywhere on the ship.

DOU cards are pretty limited

I was not aware of this, and I have scored one of those cards on my three last cruises.

I have also never gotten cheers, because I doubt that I could put away 15 drinks a day, or even 10. Though, I see where cheers, would be beneficial after 5 or 6 drinks a day. That is about my daily tolerable limit give or take, so I have not yet gotten cheers, but when I get he drinks on us card, I try to enjoy it :D

However...I also say, I think it is good to have that 15 drink minimum, especially with Drinks on us...cause you could probably otherwise, get wasted and spend way too much on that slot machine, that you are sure is going to start paying off soon!, and end up plugging in way too much money, that you in a clear mind would not even consider. Just saying. I think a 15 drink cutoff on drinks on us, is a good thing. Just my opinion though.

I've always had cheers and usually end up earning the DOU card as well, which kind on renders the DOU useless since there still is the 15 drink limit. Which from a casino management standpoint is kind of dumb, I figured they'd let you drink as much as you'd like while gambling (just like Vegas/AC do) which would most likely lead to bigger losses.
