Alarm clocks in Princess lodges

We just returned from Alaska. We just used our phones as alarm clocks.

We found clocks useful and necessary as we had no other way of telling whether it was early or late. We got a few hours of "dusk" but by then it was really late.

Yes there alarm clocks.

Do be aware that they do not have air conditioning. I'm sure it's not needed most of the time, but when we were at the McKinley Princess and Denali Princess last month, I found the rooms quite warm. Even with a paddle fan at the Denali Princess I was hot. Some folks left their window open, but since there was a walkway outside the room, I didn't want to do that. On top of that when we returned from our 12 hour Denali bus tour, we found there was no electricity or hot water in the complex (the entire area was out). Luckily it came back on after a few hours.
