BUNNY81 Posted July 31, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2016 Hi all! Has anyone travelled in a B1 cabin on Harmony with an infant? We will be travelling as a group, two of the couples have babies (one will be 20mths, the other one approx 2.5yrs) What sleeping arrangement did they have in the cabin- do they provide cots/cribs? thanks! LilBlackDress Posted July 31, 2016 #2 Share Posted July 31, 2016 I believe they provide Pack-n-plays
cb at sea Posted July 31, 2016 #3 Share Posted July 31, 2016 Yes, P&P's is what RCI uses. Some cabins have sofa beds or pullmans, which might be suitable for the older child.
Rare DragonOfTheSeas Posted July 31, 2016 #4 Share Posted July 31, 2016 I quickly looked at the deck plans for Harmony. It seems almost all of the B1 cabins have a sofa bed. [but a few do not] None of them seem to have a pullman bed. The baby will get a pack and play and that will work fine. However, the 2.5 year old may be too tall to be comfortable in a P & P. That couple needs to check the deck plans to make sure they are in a cabin with a sofa bed. Grandma Dazzles Posted July 31, 2016 #5 Share Posted July 31, 2016 You have to request a pack-and-play; similar to a UK playpen, not as big as a crib or cot. The 20-month-old may fit, but I believe they do have a height/weight restriction. Otherwise the children can sleep on the sofa. Each passenger is counted as a person on board because of safety/lifeboat rules, so even using pack-and-play the cabin has to accommodate 3 people, e.g. Parents and child. gerif Posted July 31, 2016 #6 Share Posted July 31, 2016 Depends on the size of the toddlers (certainly not infants) as to whether or not they will fit comfortably in the provided P&P, but they should. Must reserve in advance.
Grandma Dazzles Posted July 31, 2016 #7 Share Posted July 31, 2016 Yes, P&P's is what RCI uses. Some cabins have sofa beds or pullmans, which might be suitable for the older child. Pullmans have an age limit, believe it's around 6, so the older child could use a sofa, but not Pullman.
